MORNING COFFEE LECTURE 67 (A daily devotional to motivate your day)
Beloveth; A philosopher once said: Much of the conflict in the world is caused or has been caused by a combination of a narrow mind and a wide mouth. We all talk too much! What heartaches are caused, homes broken up, friendships destroyed, wars incited by a hasty angry word! You hardly get into trouble by listening and you can always learn more from what others say than what you have to say. Jesus said in the book Matthew 12:36-37, but I tell you, that every idle word spoken by men will be justified and acquitted and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. Of course, we are not talking of daily positive declarations or screaming the gospel at every available opportunity. No! We are talking of that last unnecessary gossip of a fellow human being like you. As the year is coming to an end, be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wroth. Good morning!
