Abiodun Hezekiah – Kabi O Osi
Kabi O Osi By Abiodun Hezekiah
Ka Bio Osi by Abiodun is a powerful Yoruba worship song that means “Unquestionable God.” The song came during a moment of deep reflection on God’s mercy, love, and faithfulness—especially as I thought about His help just a few hours before my birthday last year.
The melody and lyrics of both the chorus and verses were deeply engraved on my heart. The special part, “Edumare lori ohun gbogbo” (God over everything), came to me while I was watching a documentary about the struggles for power and influence among Nigeria’s elite—specifically between the Ooni of Ife and the Alaafin of Oyo.
Right then, I heard clearly in my spirit: “I AM the ONE who holds their breath.” And just like that, “Edumare lori ohun gbogbo” flowed into the song—just like the rest of the chorus and verses. Glory to God!
More than just music, Kabi O Osi creates a divine atmosphere that not only invites God’s manifest presence but also helps sustain it. Praise God.
