Gospel Artist Samuel Isaiah Issues Public Statement Over Wrongful Takedown of His Entire Music Catalogue by Highvibes Distribution
Prominent Nigerian gospel artist Samuel Isaiah has raised an urgent concern regarding the wrongful removal of his entire music catalog by Highvibes Distribution.
The incident began when Isaiah submitted a takedown request for one song belonging to a different artist he once promoted. Instead of removing only that specific track, Highvibes allegedly removed all of his personal songs from digital stores — a move that has now triggered a chain of copyright blocks across major music platforms.
“This situation has affected my ministry, my fans, my earnings, and my digital presence,” Isaiah stated.
“I made a simple request for a different artist’s song. That single request should never have resulted in the deletion of my entire catalogue.”
Since the wrongful takedown, Isaiah reports:
- Copyright conflicts preventing redistribution
- Loss of digital streaming visibility
- Difficulty releasing new music
- Lack of clear communication from Highvibes
- Disruptions to ongoing music ministry projects
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue privately, Isaiah claims the distributor has not provided a clear solution or taken responsibility for their error.
He is now calling on Highvibes Distribution to urgently:
- Reinstate his removed songs
- Release the locked metadata preventing redistribution
- Provide a written clearance confirming his ownership
- Correct the internal error that caused this situation
“Highvibes is holding my catalogue hostage due to an issue that came from their end. I’m appealing to them publicly because the damage is now affecting my interactions with other music distribution platforms.”
