“The Cross” is a reminder of why Christ came, died and resurrected.
Favour shares the inspiration behind the song, saying; “One of the days in Feb 2021, I was in my choir retreat and holy spirit started talking to me about “The Cross” and what Jesus did, I cried uncontrollably. I began to understand what Jesus really did for us.
I thought it was over until the upper week precisely on a Tuesday; I was spending time with the holy spirit and worshipping. Then this song about started coming out of my mouth, immediately I knew a new song had been released to me.”
