“Do not cling to the events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago. Watch for a new thing that I am going to do. It is happening already – you can see it now!” – Isaiah 43:18-19 (GNT)
Once upon a time, Kodak was the giant of the world in chemical imaging and was known for its top-quality images. Safe to say Kodak enjoyed global acceptance even to the far ends of the earth. However, a few years later, Kodak lost a lot of market share for not adapting to change. The company did not take the leap from chemical imaging to digital imaging which was fast becoming the future.
This year, it is clear that God is set to do new and unprecedented things in the world and in the lives of His people. You have to tap into this newness if you will not be left behind. Where you are is not the standard. There is more; and God is set to take you there and use you to do the same for others – if only you will let Him.
Confession: I receive the grace to embrace newness. I declare that I am available and essential for what God is doing in this season.
