The Spiritual Significance of the Eleventh Month (November) in the Life of Believers – “A month of Transition , preparation and possession”.
In part 1, we discussed majorly three points:
(a). Transition
(b). Disorder turning into divine order
(c). Final push before completion
Which translates as written above in our headline “a month of Transition, Preparation and Possession”.
Today, we will move further to another significance of the eleventh month.
In Deuteronomy 1 : 3 we read in part one, God began to speak to Israel in the eleventh month, preparing them to enter into the promised land. It was the month of transition, preparation and possession.
(2) The Eleventh Hour – God’s Time of Uncommon Favour
In Matthew 20 : 6 – 9, Jesus gave a parable of labourers hired at different hours and they got the same wages.
Note: The last were hired at the eleventh hour and yet was paid the same salary as those who were hired earlier (The work of Favour). It is called ‘Grace over Labour’. Results that does not match your labour. Just like someone who started a new job in your company on the 29th day of the month and earn full salary on 30th of same month (Just one day work grants favour of 30 days job). It could be classified as , working like ant, and eating like elephant.
The month of November, the eleventh month of the year carries such abilities in the live of a believer who is in alignment with God’s will and purpose. And this favour is activated when God speaks to his people. Therefore, brethren, seek the face of God to speak to you in this eleventh season by prayers, supplications, worships, praises, reading his words and living holy. These are the tools to activate God’s favour, and grace for the eleventh month.
