Your Elevation Today by Godman Akinlabi.
“And ‘don’t sin by letting anger control you.’ Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.” – Ephesians 4:26-27 (NLT)
It is natural to feel angry, but God calls you to handle it in a way that does not lead to sin. Be honest with your emotions and express them healthily but strive to resolve conflicts and seek forgiveness when needed.
When you hold onto anger and allow it to fester, you risk giving the devil a foothold in your life. Anger can turn into bitterness, resentment, and even hatred, leading you down a path of sin and destruction. Strive to be like Christ, who expressed righteous anger but never sinned.
Confession: I will not let the sun go down on my anger – conflicts will be resolved quickly, and hurts forgiven.
