Beloveth; Hear this: The past is your teacher. The present is your opportunity. The future is your reward.

There is no one who goes through a certain ordeal or situation and comes out the same way they entered.

The past is a teacher, although a very hard and strict teacher.

It does not teach theories, it teaches practicals. The past is past, let the future lead.

A wise man said the past will be your teacher if you learn from it, but your master if you live in it.

Learn from the mistakes of the past, but do not let it lead you.

We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles! The past is your teacher learn from it!
