DIVINE COMMISSION ASSEMBLY (DCA)
Our History
Divine Commission Assembly (DCA) is a Christ-centered ministry born out of prayer, divine direction, and a passion to reveal God’s Kingdom to humanity.
The ministry began on Friday, September 19, 2025, as a prayer fellowship known as “Divine Commission.” The first meeting was held in the sitting room (parlour) of the founder at the Voice of Nigeria (VON) Quarters, Ebute, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria, which remains the ministry’s location to date.
The inaugural meeting was attended by only nine people, yet it marked the beginning of a divine journey. Before the scheduled prayer meeting, which held every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the first attendee arrived at about 8:30 a.m. He was a brother trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Upon arrival, he shared a testimony that he had received a dream in which he was told that his wife had conceived.
This testimony was profoundly significant because the founder had placed three specific demands before God, seeking divine confirmation concerning the commission. The testimony regarding the fruit of the womb was one of those signs, and the remaining two signs were also fulfilled. Through these confirmations, God approved and established the commission in a remarkable way.
As the fellowship continued to grow in grace, revelation, and attendance, the need for a dedicated worship space became evident.
On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the foundation of the ministry’s temporary worship structure was laid by Pastor Maxwell Kenneth of Firstborn Gospel Ministry Inc., alongside a visiting apostolic minister.
A major milestone was reached on February 28, 2026, during the monthly crossover service. Although the building’s roofing was only partially completed, members gathered in faith to hold the crossover service in the new sanctuary. This historic gathering marked the final service held in the founder’s parlour and the beginning of worship in the new church auditorium.
The roofing project was subsequently completed on March 24, 2026. Within just six months of the ministry’s existence, God graciously provided a comfortable temporary place of worship for His people.
Following this transition, the ministry expanded its activities to include regular Sunday worship services and officially adopted its full name:

Since its inception, God has continually manifested His presence through His Word, answered prayers, divine revelations, testimonies, healings, deliverances, and transformed lives. The ministry remains committed to its divine mandate of preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and raising believers who will positively influence their generation for Christ.

To proclaim the message of reconciliation through Jesus Christ, make disciples of all nations, and empower believers through the Word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit to fulfill their divine purpose.

Our ultimate pursuit is eternal life with God. We are committed to preparing believers for Heaven through holy living, unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, and obedience to God’s Word.

While preparing for eternity, we believe God desires His children to live purposeful, impactful, and successful lives on earth through wisdom, diligence, integrity, and divine guidance.
3. Understanding Our Positional Advantage in Christ
We teach believers to understand and walk in their identity, authority, inheritance, and victory in Christ Jesus, maximizing the benefits of redemption and Kingdom citizenship.

This scripture forms the foundation of Divine Commission Assembly (DCA). As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to represent God’s Kingdom on earth, proclaim the message of reconciliation, and demonstrate the character, power, and love of Jesus Christ to our generation.

Through prayer, discipleship, sound doctrine, and the power of the Holy Spirit, DCA is committed to raising believers who will stand as lights in their generation and faithfully fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
